Longer, Healthier Hair for Men

Greg Seltz
I would first and foremost like to mention that this was based on personal experience, and has yet to be incorporated in other lifestyles known to me. It will, however, detail my personal hair growth delays due to split ends with less than healthy hair. Eventually, I was able to introduce a few all natural products along with a daily conditioner to adopt the desired effect. A considerable amount of research and experimentation was involved.

Genetic composition forced me to develop thin hair rather than thick. A short hair style free of product will typically produce a thick, natural appearance for myself. However, I have always indulged in the idea of reaping long, glorious hair residing at shoulder length. Unfortunately, I assume that the use of hair dye and style products have contributed to the many split ends that prevent hair from growing any further. Since I have refused to eliminate the use of these products in my hair, I have developed a better method of styling along with frequent conditioning.

To begin, I tossed out many brand names of all natural, all organic products (even the brand name that currently employs me) that I had currently been experimenting with. In the pet aisle of Wal-Mart, you will seek a conditioner known as Mane & Tail. Apparently, this conditioner has a significant amount of positive reviews that provide for thicker hair, faster. Please note that I do not use this item in the shower, but as a leave-in conditioner that also styles my hair until I reach desired results. Simply a towel and hot water will aid in producing a more than satisfying hold after air dried.

For Shampoo and Conditioner, I utilize a few grocery products that I eat occasionally. Apple Cider Vinegar will cleanse the hair as well as any other product on the market. Feel free to do the research. It will also, however, leave little moisture for the hair follicles. I use it every 1-2 days. Ensure that you use the Mane & Tail conditioner directly after, unless you want the scent of vinegar lingering among your presence. Once a week, an avocado or rotten banana will do wonders to condition your hair with all the required nutrients. You will be astonished of the results shortly after, as a thicker appearance will naturally take shape. Feel free to use the remaining avocado as a facial scrub. I allow the fruit to remain on my skin/hair for roughly 20 mins (for the hair, I use plastic wrap to cover the head) and then follow with an Apple Cider Vinegar shower. Remember, the smell will need to be suppressed before departing the confines of you home.

I will conclude with the most important key to eliminating split ends, and one that I had never introduced before adopting a healthier hair style. Frequent hair cuts! Remember, the hair will fail to grow any further if the ends are split. I arrange to remove an inch or so every month and a half. Once again, the quick results of the Mane & Tail prove helpful as I grow roughly 2-3 inches within this time. As a reminder, this experiment worked profoundly on my hair; yet remains to be tested among others. Feel free to notify me of your results if you acknowledge the advice.
