Today has all gone astray,
look away, just look away,
I had no clue, what to say,
just look away, look away.
Oh how odd I want to say,
but instead I only look away, look away.
There is no meaning to this day,
so all I can do is look away, look away.
Tomorrow is close not far away,
so look away, look away,
from this dreadful aweful day.
Look away, look away.

Very thought provoking, and you're right - God-inspired!
Katy, I like that, that would have made a perfect last line! Thanks for reading!
Tomorrow is not too far away! :)
Sometimes . . . looking away . . . and moving on . . . are the best one can do!
This one truly resonated with me. I understand about the need to look away, having no choice, sometimes. And then you move on....to the next day.
Look away Dixie Land?
Thoughtful.
I like it very much. I feel that way some times.
