Tell me if this is real,
Show me how to feel.

Not knowing what's true
Trying to be happy,
When really, I'm blue.
Look at me
Crying inside of a smile.
Hiding my sorrow and pain,
While maintaining poise and style.
Look at me
In my three piece suit.
Didn't pay much for it,
But I had to look cute.
Look at me
Always knowing what to say.
Hurting deep inside,
But can always brighten someone's day.
Look at me
Trying to look my best.
Not knowing that a good morning
Starts with a good night's rest.
Look at me
Tell me what you see.
Do you see someone who's happy,
Or just someone who should be?
