Looking for a Different Kind of Spooky Halloween?

Try the Haunted Corn Maze!

Karen Gros
October brings many things we look forward to, cooler weather, beautiful foliage, and Halloween events. There are always Halloween parties, haunted house and Trick or Treat events, but have you ever heard of a haunted corn maze? We have one such even in the Baton Rouge, LA area. The Cajun Country Corn Maze is located in Pine Grove, Louisiana, just a short drive north of the city.

The Cajun Country Corn Maze was built and designed to teach people about the foods and fiber typically produced here in Louisiana. The maze is family oriented, kid-friendly and in a farm-like setting.

For the month of October, the second half of the maize is dedicated to "hauntings" after dusk in celebration of Halloween. You never know what you will see when you turn the corner, but be forewarned...it will be spooky!

You may want to go shopping for a small pen light or glow sticks before going to the Cajun Country Corn Maize, especially if you have small children. Flashlights are not allowed.

Admission prices are as follows:

Ages 12 and older - $10.00/ Season Pass $20.00

Ages 4-11 - $8.00/Season Pass $16.00

You will receive one token to be used on another activity at the maze with each general admission ticket. Tokens are not valid on food items.
