Women all over the world are dealing with losing time. With losing time, they are focused on their careers, their homes, and their family. What gets lost in the meantime, is their sense of peace and of course, their health. A big part of a woman's health is her emotional and physical well being. If she doesn't take care of her mind, the body will follow.
Are you following me yet?
Are you tired of looking like you are dragging yourself out of bed, each and every morning? Are the bags under your eyes, and you haven't been complimented by your boyfriend, husband or significant other. How do you juggle your time as a woman, mother, sister, friend, and co-worker without sacrificing your peace of mind, your physical fortitude, and keep yourself looking fabulous?
It's simple. I got the answer to your troubles! I swear I do. The question is, will you really take this under consideration? I mean, when was the last time you looked in the mirror and said "Girl, you look fantabulous!" I mean, with spirit, feeling and sass. If you are trying of dragging and need a little pep in your step, this article is for you.
The first thing you need to do is take stock of what you feel like. And slow it down. I mean, all the way down. How you going to be fantabulous if you look like a wet puppy? Take a little time to prepare yourself and fit in some pampering time.
Here are a few things to look fabulous.
LOOKING FRESH
When you get up in the morning, take extra time to take a long hot bath, fill with some bath salts (commonly costs between $1-10), and close your bathroom door. Turn on your favorite CD, and burn some candles while soaking your body in the water. Don't have time to take a hot bath, then, take a hot shower, but keep body oils handy and smooth your body down as you slow down your 'I gotta go!" mentality, just a little bit as you take care of your own self. After showering or bathing, smooth your face, pat down your hair style, and hit the road.
FOOT DOWN TIME
When was the last time you took the time to soak your pretty little feet? Probably a while, Well, here is a fool proof way to relax your feet. First, take a warm water and soak your feet in some foot scrub and allow the aromatherapy to energize your feet. Try the Tootsies brand of "Energizing Foot Scrub." The great thing about doing this, you give your feet the attend they need and deserve. After letting the scrub stay on for a while, take it off, and gently massage your feet. After you remove the scrub, take some oil or lotion and massage (again) your feet and allow them to dry and relax.
NAIL SPA TREATMENTS
Don't have time to go to the spa to get your nails done. Then, at least soak your cuticles in warm water, and use the appropriate tools to massage each cuticle, clean and remove any dirt and then use some nail oil around the cuticles. After the cuticles dry, use your nail clipper to trim the nails, and clean each nail. When you're done, use some clear nail polish or other nail polish to bring some color to the nails. Make sure to take time to brush along the length of each nail and not do a rush job.
DE-STRESS TIPS:
If you have the time, go into a quiet space, turn off the television, put your cellular and put on vibrate. Burn candles, or burn aromatheraphy oils, and allow yourself to breath. Count to ten very slowly and allow the air to come from the bottom of your stomach all through the top of your mouth as you inhale, and exhale. While relaxing in this moment, pause all thoughts of your boss, your responsibilities, and allow your mind to be in a peaceful place. Sit with your eyes closed for a few minutes after exhaling to allow your body to become one with the quietness.
IMAGE CONTROL
When you leave the house, make sure you look great. I mean, you don't have to look like a celebrity, but whatever you have will be fine. That means, press your clothes, or make sure you take them to the cleaners. If you want to project a great image, then you must look like you care about yourself. You do this by choosing a great outfit, and it doesn't matter how many times you've wore it. What matters is the sass, the sway, and confidence that will ooze from your body as you glide down the street, down the hallway at work, or as you go along your daily tasks. A poor image says you are tired, wore out, and don't care. A great image tells people you are in a healthy frame of mind and you're ready to take the world on! So choose an outfit that compliments your mood of the day and take the day as it comes. Find the perfect shoes, earrings, and dap some perfume. Now you are ready to take the day!
Remember that in order to look fun, fierce and fantabulous, you must have a beautiful frame of mind, along with pampering yourself, and looking great! Don't allow a little stress to over take your peace of mind and body.
Stress is a normal part of life, but when you allow it to consume you and take over, that is where your beauty can be drained.
Don't let it take your beauty away! Focus on centering yourself and slowing down helps, not only you, but everyone that is in your world. Know go take the day as you rip, run, and glow! They will want to know why you will be floating.
