WHERE: Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church in the downstairs fellowship hall
LOCATION: 6429 Blue Ridge Blvd.
PURPOSE: A fund-raiser for The Shepherd's Center - an organization that serves the senior community of Raytown
DONATION DROP-OFF INFORMATION: You can bring your books to their office at One Spiritual United Methodist Church, 7500 Blue Ridge Blvd. Call them at 816-356-7900 for more information and additional drop-off locations.
This event will be a treasure trove for readers. You never know what you'll find that piques your interest. And with cooler days approaching, reading a good book by a crackling fireplace is a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend a day.
