Looking Good Without Trying to Be Model Thin

Motivation for Keeping Fit

Sure, changing your eating habits and getting off the couch and missing some TV can be tough, but look at it this way: you'll feel better, look better and be healthier. Regular activities, like walking, can help keep away diabetes, heart disease and Alzheimer's according to some studies. Some studies even suggest that exercise can keep away some cancer risk.

So if you could have a healthier, longer life, free from more problems, wouldn't you want to find the strength to change. While doctors have told my grandmother that skinny people have more health problems than fat people, I think she still exercises, even at 96. She is a little on the heavy side, but has been fairly healthy throughout her life.

So, even if you just want to look better, if you don't become unrealistic and want to be model thin by starving yourself, you will feel better. Just remember to up you're protein intake as you exercise more, stay hydrated, and try to eat healthy with veggies and only 30% of your calories coming from fat.

I like to eat Omega 3 eggs, nuts and Barilla Plus pasta to get essential fatty acids since I'm allergic to fish. I try to get protein from a variety of sources, and I feel a lot better now that I've lost 55 lbs, so I stay motivated.

For more information on proper nutrition for optimum brain health so you feel better, I recommend the Brain Chemistry Plan, and Change your Brain, Change your Life. They are both excellent resources for getting rid of emotional ticks that can effect your emotions and relationships.

The funny thing is, the more muscle you have, the more you weigh, even if you are smaller than you were when you first started working out. So don't get discouraged by your higher scale weight. As long as you are building muscle, you will get smaller. Its very hard for women to get big muscles.

And when you feel better and stronger, and get enough protein, you can become more patient and stronger character because you did the work it takes to get better. Remember to work on you're spiritual life as well as get fit so you feel well balanced. Looking good without morals is asking for trouble.

The truth about being model thin is that most models do drugs and or are promiscuous. Not all, but they aren't known for being good role models. Many are anorexic. If you work out, and become stronger, you will feel better and be stronger, and look good too. I have met one too many suicidal models to ever want to look like one again.
