Looking into Your Mirror

You look into the mirror and who do you see?
Is everything just as you thought it would be?

Do you like what it is that you've become?
Are you proud of all the things that you've done?

Everyone does it, wondering and wishing,
Did you live a good life while you could've been fishing?

You never know if what you're doing is right,
You just go to bed, and pray each and every night!

Asking for forgiveness and guidance too,
If only there were someone to tell you what to do!

This is your life, you have no master plan,
All that you can do-- is all that you can!!

Believe it or not, you do get guidance everyday,
From a loved one, a friend and from words that you say!

You ask your friends for advise and even family too,
Sometimes even God-- He'll know what to do!

The next time you look into your mirror,
Think of those voices in your head that you hear!

You know the difference 'tween right and wrong,
Just like you know all the words to your favorite song!

We're all human, we all make mistakes,
And we all live our live and do whatever it takes!

You look into the mirror and who do you see?
You turned out wonderful, that's who He sees!
