If you're considering investing in an online Real Estate School, then here are some important facts to consider. Courses offered! Most online Real Estate Schools offers a variety of different courses. For instance, they usually specialize in offering courses towards a Real Estate license or Broker's license. They may offer continuing education courses that are required for Sale associates and Brokers to renew their license. Also, Timeshare and Title Abstractor courses may be offered as well.

Jurisdiction! Always make sure you purchase courses representing the State you wish to practice in. For example, if you want to become a real estate agent in the state of Nevada, then you have to pass a State exam testing your knowledge of laws and regulations unique to that state.

Creditability! Make sure the online Real Estate School you're considering, is approved by the Real Estate Commission in the state you wish to practice in. It's important to note, laws and regulations on government websites are in the public domain. This means anyone can copy and paste a set of rules and regulations in an eBook, and call it a course. So buyers beware! Don't buy first and ask questions later. This can be a costly mistake.

Customer Service! A good online Real Estate School should provide a hotline, or at least an email address dedicated to questions related to your studies. Don't be left with a handful of books that you're left to decipher.

Course material! Typically courses are offered in some type of digital format via downloading an eBook, CD-ROM, or a full access to the school's website where the courses are stored.

Time and commitment of study! One of the selling points of online real estate schools is the flexibility to study when you want, and take as long as you need. When studying diligently with a fulltime job it takes typically about three months to get your real estate license, and others may never get around reading the first page a year after their purchase.

Cost! The average cost of courses at an online Real Estate School is around a hundred-fifty dollars. This is not including state application fees and testing fees. As an example, state application fees in the State of Florida are hundred-twenty dollars, with the Real Estate test being about thirty-one dollars.

Why get a Real Estate license? It's a Criminal Offense to be financially compensated when providing a service pertaining to real estate without being licensed; it's currently a Third Degree felony in the State of Florida.

So good luck and shop wisely!
