Looking for Love

We often forget
the things that are near.
Until we almost lose the special someone
that to our heart is so dear.

The grass looks so much greener
on the other side.
But delusions of grandeur
can lead to a long hurtful ride.

A misguided search for happiness
is often where we find.
That what we thought we were looking for
was right there the whole time.
