If you're looking for a little piece of heaven on earth then look no further than the Lookout Point Lakeside Inn in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Nestled next to Lake Hamilton, down the hill and away from the road lies the most amazing Bed and Breakfast that offers guests everything their heart could possibly desire. The backyard itself is worth a visit as the grounds have everything a lazy afternoon could ask for: two hammocks, benches, a chair swing, a waterfall, a labyrinth, gardens, a gorgeous lake view, and even a canoe to take out onto the pristine water.

The proprietors of the Lookout Point Lakeside Inn in Hot Springs, Arkansas have thought everything for their guests including free wi-fi, a guest computer, writing pads, pens, an array of different flavored coffees and teas, snacks (like Oreo cookies, Chex mix, popcorn, and M&M's), soft drinks, and ice. In the late afternoons there is a wine and cheese mixer for the guests, which is a fun way to get to know the other people staying at the inn. We especially enjoyed the wine and cheese (and iced tea for those who don't drink) because it was put out just as we arrived. There's nothing better than a snack to welcome guests.

There's even a drawer in the hallway for guests who might have forgotten certain essentials like toothpaste, razors and ibuprofen. The Lookout Point Lakeside Inn in Hot Springs, Arkansas provides toiletry basics like shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and a shower cap but they also have robes so you can step out of the shower and onto your balcony (overlooking the lake) while sipping a cup of coffee. Though breakfast is served each morning, the staff at the Lookout Point Lakeside Inn in Hot Springs, Arkansas put out coffee in the hallway for guests to enjoy in their room.

There are wooden rocking chairs on the balconies and there's even an outlet so you can use your laptop, although why would you want to when you can rock your worries away. Don't fret if you happen to stay when it's raining either because the proprietors of the Lookout Point Lakeside Inn in Hot Springs, Arkansas have you covered with a plethora of books, board games, videos, and of course television. Even umbrellas are provided if needed.

The cook makes a different breakfast each morning and they will cater to your dietary needs so don't worry if you're a vegetarian. The rooms are comfortable and full of character but you won't want to stay in your room the entire time because Hot Springs has so much to see and do. I can't say enough good things about the Lookout Point Lakeside Inn in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

My husband and I enjoyed staying there so much we're thinking about retiring there. I'm not surprised that so many couples choose to get married and have their honeymoon at the Lookout Point Lakeside Inn in Hot Springs, Arkansas; and conveniently one of the proprietors is a minister.

I could go there just for the in-room snacks. We're only one state away, but don't think I'll cross the Mississippi!

Hot Springs is a very pretty area. I try to travel through the north west corner of the state when we travel. The mountains are beautiful.
