The series of Loose Change films, written and directed by Dylan Avery and produced by Korey Rowe, Jason Bermas, and Matthew Brown claim that the September 11th, 2001 attacks against the United States of America were planned by carried out be covert elements within the United States Government. The original Loose Change film was released in 2002. In 2005, the film was released onto the Internet, with a second edition of the Loose Change film added in late 2005 and early 2006. There was a third release in November of 2007.

911 Conspiracy Theories in Film
The Loose Change films are filled with theories as to how the attacks were supposedly carried out by the US Government. The main theory in question in the Loose Change film is that the the Twin Towers were brought down by a controlled demolition after planes were flown into the World Trade Center. There were several Loose Change film releases, each release being a revision of a previous release. Each of the series of Loose Change films have gone under revision as supposed new information and evidence has become available.

The first Loose Change film claimed that there was a "pod" visible under the fuselage of the aircraft that flew into the south tower to the World Trade Center. The film claims that this "pod" was used to remotely control the flight of the plane into the tower. They also assert in the first film that Flight 93 was shot down over Pennsylvania. The second film asserts that the plan was landed in Cleveland, and the third asserts that flight 93 never crashed in Pennsylvania.

The Loose Change films about 911 were popular viewing across much of the Internet and over a million copies of the DVDs have been sold. The Loose Change film first aired on FOX TV and it also aired around the world on several international television networks.

Criticism of the Loose Change Films
Many people have spoken out against the Loose Change Films, these include scientists, engineers, journalists, and researchers. Even the United States Government got into the act of criticizing the films when it issued an article called "Loose Change Debunked." The article stated that it would have been impossible to carry out a control demolition of the towers based on the conditions that were encountered after the aircraft flew into the towers. The article also makes notes of many of the discrpeancies that occur within the film series in how the facts are presented.

We must be careful to not confuse a film maker's imagination or creation with reality... especially if the film maker is perhaps a tad 'loose.'
