Loosing the Shackles

Freeing Your Mind

Meki g
She built the walls day by day,
Them growing taller,
Her life shrinking away.

Hiding the pain,
To keep the sanity of mind.

Her doing the time,
When He committed the crime.

Taking from Her,
What she could never get back.
Her innocence of youth,
Was no longer in tack.

Pain, hurt and shame consumed her life,
Cutting through her like it wielded a knife.

An adolescent man, pompous of Her youth,
Doesn't matter whether early or late.
When I know there had to be a grown woman,
Somewhere that He could have chosen as a mate.

A broken spirit, laying in pieces of time,
Scattered in every aspect of Her life as a sign.

But she chose not to die,
Not to give in-
For she allowed God to take away Her sins.

In Him She was made whole---
A new body a brand new soul.

The Walls are down,
No more chains holding me!

I pray that God will help You one day to see,
The ways of your sin, when You layed hands on a child like me.

That conviction on You from God will fall...

It's not about Me winning--
But that you get forgiveness before Justice calls.

Beautifully expressed. A verbal vision for the blind and a tour through darkness for the sighted. Thank you.

People just do not understand what can happen when we turn our lives over to God! Amen to this!

Oh, my! This is awsome. You put this subject in words that get the message out. I speak out against this also. So many of our children are
taken in by no goods who use and abuse them. There has to be an answer and God can provide it. He forgives, cleanses and makes whole. We have to trust in Him as well as work to get our "law's" changed to do away with those who harm our youth.
    Thanks....Brenda

This is not about me...but easily could have been. I pray for my sisters and BROTHERS who have endured and are enduring.
