L'Oreal Advanced Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate

Susan Slade
A few months ago I purchased the L'Oreal Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate, and got my money back, with register rewards.

It comes in a red colored tube, which has a clear plastic cap on it. You can see the nozzle through the cap. The net weight is 1 fluid ounce (30 ml).

It states on the back of the tube to use it a.m. and p.m. It is to be smoothed on the face, and neck. It can be used alone or with a moisturizer.

Well I used it for a short period and was pleased with it. After a longer period of time, I got dry skin, a red patch in the area under one eye, which started to tingle. Even though I wanted to get rid of my wrinkles, I figured it was best to not use it again.

So about 6 weeks ago, I saw a second tube of L'Oreal Advanced Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate, with my skin products. I thought about giving it to a friend, or a charity shop, not couldn't part with it. That is the trouble when you are a 'beauty diva', and have hundreds of products. No matter what, you don't want to part with them.

So I decided to give it a second chance. I applied it on the Sunday night, after removing my makeup. I blended it in my skin, and then added a moisturizer. No problems that night.

The following morning I got up, and washed my face. I applied it to my face and neck area, moisturized, and went about my daily activities.

I continued this for 6 days, and then I got another slight red mark around my eye. My skin felt tight, and I had the faintest of tingling again. When I use anti-aging/anti wrinkle serums, concentrates, or creams, my face gets dry, sometimes red patches, and that tingling. With all other face products it is fine. I have never been aware that my skin is sensitive.

So I gave up on my eye area, but I do have deep wrinkles around my lips. I am not sure if this is because I always smile, or whether it is because I had my teeth out, in my 20's, and have had dentures ever since. My gums do shrink.

I continued using the L'Oreal Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate in this area for a whole month, and have to say that there was no improvement in the wrinkles.

When I checked on their website it states that it is "Clinical proven to reduce the size, and width of wrinkles in both an 8 week, and 12 week study." It contains Pro-Retinal A + Pro-Lastyl.

I cannot be 100% sure that it would/wouldn't have worked for me over that period of time. However, in 4 weeks, I would have assumed some improvement in that time frame.

At least I did finish the tube, so none got wasted.

I have tried so many products, and none of them do what they claim.
