L'Oreal Beauty Tubes Double Extend Mascara Review

I finally made my way to my local store's beauty section and purchased a tube of L'Oreal Beauty Tubes Mascara. I first saw this mascara on a commercial and for some reason I believed it over all of the other mascara commercials I see on a regular basis. I was also looking for an alternative to fake eye lashes, which I wear from time to time when I go out for a night on the town.

So I decided to go ahead and try it out. When it comes to beauty products for hair or makeup, I'll spend a few dollars because the good stuff costs money.

So I was expecting to pay about $15 for the tube, but it was only about $10. Cool. I got home, and coincidentally I had a date. So this was the perfect time to try it out...

Results

The Beauty Tubes mascara is so cool. It actually works. Very simple and to the point.

I put on the first layer, the white base, which is made of Ceramide R and D-Panthenol. This substance is supposed to strengthen and nourish your lashes, as well as make them longer. My lashes immediately started to lengthen. I could definitely tell that some of the white mascara was attaching itself to the ends of my natural lashes. I'd say I go about a 1/2 inch of additional length.

Next I started putting on the black top coat. It separated and coated the lashes beautifully. As the product advertises, it doesn't clump or smear. My eyelashes looked great. There was definitely a tubing technology that had enveloped my natural lashes.

Removal

After my night out, I came home and started to get ready for bed. I just closed my eyes, rubbed some water and a dab of soap on the lashes, and then pulled at the lashes to take off the "tubes." They came right off in my fingers, proof that there was some type of tubing action going on.

One Downside, But Highly Recommended

I'm happy with the product. The only thing I wished was that it coated the lashes just a bit darker. I like my lashes full and dark like falsies. But I guess if I wanted to get that thicker look, I can use my other mascara as the top coat. I think I'll try that next time.

All in all, I definitely recommend L'Oreal Beauty Tubes mascara if you want longer lashes without having to deal with the glue and mess of fake eyelashes.
