L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara Review

I've spent the last few years browsing through the beauty section trying to hunt down the next best mascara. I have spent a lot of money on these tubes of black goop, hoping they might somehow extend my lashes and plump them up to a voluminous glamor goddess stature. My hopes have been extended in vain, however - as I have generally found that my previous mascara just caked my lashes together in ugly thick clumps, and then were wretchedly difficult to wash off. This is not to say I've always had bad luck with mascara, just never a real winner. I've had some decent tubes of mascara that gave my lashes noticeable depth and created the illusion of fullness, all for under eight dollars. About a month ago I took a deep breath and decided to reach deep into my wallet and take the eleven dollar plunge into the investment of a new tube - L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara. For once, my purchase was followed with a great sigh of relief and a little jumping for joy as, to my delight - my eyelashes, once dazzled and dressed with this new mascara - became fuller, longer, thicker, darker. Mysterious beauty ensued! Thanks to this wonderful little tube.

The mascara requires a little more time for application, but is well worth it. The product involves a two step application process. The first side of the tube that you apply is the white side which contains the white "extender" fluid, which creates a moisturizing base coat to develop your lash length. The second application is the "magnifier" liquid, which is the black liquid (red cap side) that covers the white coat you just applied. Your lashes will appear fuller and longer. The lash enhancement is not the only pro to this product - my absolute favorite part about this product is actually the removal. I have had to fight with my other mascaras, leaving chunks and waxy residue on my eyelashes after cleaning my face repeatedly. Having to buy expensive oily make up remover just to free my lashes of the scummy mascara...making my purchase even more expensive. The L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara is amazing simply because with a little warm water and some soap, the beauty tubes literally slide right off your eyelashes. I just wash my eyelashes with soap and then squeegie them with my fingers, causing tiny little snakes or squiggles, however you want to describe them - to slip off. This assures you that the product is being removed, without any fussing - and I can appreciate that. I truly enjoy this product, I believe it is money well spent and I will continue to use it in the future.
