L'Oreal Double Extend Tubes Mascara Review

Each year women spend millions of dollars on beauty products that claim to make their eyes brighter and their lips fuller. Often they try a new product only to be disappointed when it doesn't do what it claims it can. Recently I tried one that actually did what it says and I was very impressed. When it comes to buying mascara I figure the cheaper the better because there is little hope for my flimsy, thin, short lashes anyway so I just color them black and forget about it. After seeing several commercials I tried L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara and was pleasantly surprised.

L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara comes in a double-sided tube. The white end is a primer that is applied first and then the black end colors the lashes. After applying the primer I felt a little silly because I looked like I was dressing up for Halloween, but when I continued with the black side my lashes were immediately thicker and longer without looking clumpy. It really pulled my eye makeup together and made my eyes stand out.

The second test was to see if my lashes still looked good after a long day and I am pleased to report the mascara held up very well. At the end of a long work day my lashes still looked as fresh as they did that morning. While the mascara is not waterproof, it didn't run easily with watery eyes or crying. Even when my eyeshadow and eyeliner had faded my lashes still looked long and full.

When it was time to wash my face I was curious to see how easily the tubes came off. When I applied water and face wash the tubes came off and stuck to my face. I have to admit it is a little weird to see, but it was better than having black stuff streak down my face and with a little extra rubbing they came right off.

L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara is a great product for people that wear contacts or have sensitive eyes. There is very little flaking throughout the day so there is nothing to get inside the eye. It is a really good product and I plan to use it again and again.
