L'Oreal Eyeliner and Mascara: Get Ready to Be Shocked

SoleilJaune
Sick of your eye makeup wearing off five minutes after you've put it on? I've discovered a solution to this problem that personally works for me. First, I put on L'Oreal's Lineur Intense, a fairly inexpensive liquid eyeliner with a felt tip. Now I've always been one to reach for the pencil, but since using this product, I don't think I'll go back it! The eyeliner is thick and dark enough to stay in place all day long. There's just one thing that I miss from using a pencil: it's not as easy to draw a straight line. It took me a few weeks to "perfect" my technique, but I definitely think it's worth it. Just make sure to take your time when you do it and don't get frustrated. Keep a wet face towel handy and just start over again if you mess up. But, even if it is hard to draw a straight line, the felt tip is much more comfortable and glides smoothly on the eyelid. There's nothing like not having to worry about getting splinters from your eye makeup.

Since using L'Oreal's Liner Intense, I've checked a few other reviews of this product. The majority of the feedback for this eyeliner was full of praise, stating that it lasted all day long. However, I did come across one woman who complained that it wore off not even ten minutes after she'd put it on. She had just happened to glance at herself in her car mirror on her way to work and found no makeup on her eyes at all! I really don't know how this could have happened, as this eyeliner has stayed on through my long days of school and work. Every time I come home to look in the mirror, I find my eyes looking like I just put the makeup on!

The yin to L'Oreal's eyeliner yang is the same brand's "Volume Shocking" mascara. It's actually has two bottles in one: a white gel to plump up your lashes and just plain black mascara. To apply it to your eyes, you must first brush on the gel. Second, the black mascara should be applied to fully define your eyelashes. These steps shouldn't be confusing, as the bottle actually has "Step one" and "Step two" on the respective sides of each kind of mascara. I thought this product was a little ridiculous at first (just look at its shape), but it actually works! My eyelashes actually have more volume since I started using this product. My only warning is just that you make sure to apply step two. I once forgot to do this and had more than one person inquire as to why my eyelashes where white. It can be a little disturbing.

Obviously L'Oreal's liquid eyeliner and volume shocking mascara is the perfect combo if you want your eyes to look well-defined. The slick black eyeliner and volumizing mascara are enough to make you stick with these products for good. And the good news is that some stores sell them together in one package, which means you get both for less. Now what's better than looking good and saving money?
