Men's Expert is expensive-with a 1.7 ounce tube of product costing between $8 to $10 in most U.S. pharmacies and supermarkets.
The under-eye rejuvenation eye cream worked well for me, with noticeably less lines after regular usage. I noted, however, that using this product too often had the opposite effect-it made the "bags" under my eyes appear more pronounced. So I would recommend using this product only a few times per week.
The Men's Expert facial moisturizer comes in two varieties. One has an infusion of vitamin C and includes SPF 15 sun protection. This is fine if you plan on being outside in direct or indirect sunlight all day long, but I found it to be too "sticky" for everyday wear. For everyday usage at work, I would recommend instead their facial moisturizer with a vitamin C infusion-the one without the added SPF protection. This one dries quickly, does not have any noticeable smell, and left my skin feeling soft and looking great.
Several coworkers actually commented that I looked "refreshed"-one asked if I had changed my diet.
Is L'Oreal Men's Expert a significantly better line than the generic moisturizers available out there? This is a good question. I think that many generic vitamin C, vitamin E, and aloe vera moisturizers will help you just as well with a dry face. Despite this, for an everyday "maintenance" moisturizer, these generics were not as kind to my face-quite a few cause me to break out.
Men's Expert, on the other hand, does not give me any sort of reaction. I use more moisturizer during the winter months because it is so cold and dry outside; I simply can't afford to use a moisturizer that will react badly with my skin as my job involves a lot of presentations and public speaking.
If you are looking to use a premium moisturizer, but you are on a budget, spend wisely: the under-eye rejuvenation cream is frankly too expensive for many people to use regularly. Just buy their larger 1.7 ounce vitamin C moisturizer instead. Get a generic for your eye lines or use a dab of aloe vera gel before going to sleep. Make sure you do not get any of the gel in your eyes-if you do, rinse out your eyes thoroughly with cold water or else irritation may occur.
Also, don't drop a boatload of money on L'Oreal Men's Expert aftershave-many generic aftershaves work just as well, and cost only a fraction of the price.
