Looking on the hanging packaging, all it had on it was the brand, the name, 0.10 ounce/3.0 g, on the front. Turning it over it had the ingredients of the base coat, and the top coat. At the bottom the distribution details.
So I knew nothing about this product before using it.
The l'Oreal Lipcolour looks more like a mascara wand. It measures five and a half inches in length, and is thinner than a regular lipstick. The lipcolour is a metallic silver, and has 4 sections. The top and bottom ones have nothing on them, and when I checked them, they are the caps for the product. One of the middle sections states: 'L'Oreal Paris 1 Base'. The other middle one has 'Volume Perfect Re-Shaping Lipcolour 2 Colour'.
I pulled off the cap of the base, and then turned the whole thing to the right, while holding onto the top. Out came the white base, which is less than a quarter of an inch in diameter, and just under an inch in length.
I wound it back up so that there was only the tip showing. I then applied it to both my top and lower lips. I checked my lips and they looked a little lighter than normal, but I didn't feel any moisture in them.
Then I went to the other end of the applicator, and removed the top. I applied the color to my lips. The color of the lipstick is slightly darker, than the color displayed, on the outside of the Lipcolour.
My lips did look a little shiny and had a slight sparkle in them. The L'Oreal Lipcolour worked good with my tiny, narrow lips. It didn't go over the edge. However, I must have pressed a little too hard, because when I retracted the color side, a little of it stayed on the edge of the applicator.
The Lipcolour didn't stay on for long. I had a drink of water and a good deal of it stayed on the glass. When I looked at my lips the shine had gone. Within an hour my lips had no shine at all.
I felt a very slight tingling in my lips when I first used it, so went onto the Internet to find out more about this product.
From what I read, the base is a cream that contains a collagen complex. The lipcolour is supposed to re-hydrate and replenish the lips. When both are used together the lips should be fuller, or have the pouty look.
Well it did very little for me. My lips were hydrated slightly for a short period of time. The color looked good when first applied. It wore off really quickly, and left my lips feeling less hydrated, thnt if I had used a lip balm.
Here are a list of the numbers, and colors that are in this line:

700 Voluptuous Velvet

800 Bronze Boost
810 Toned Tawny

The L'Oreal Volume Perfect Re-Shaping Lipcolour isn't what I expected of it, so it will be going to a charity shop.

Post a Commentexcellent presentation ♥ thanks for sharing
Unfortunate it didn't last longer. I tried to leave a comment on your Curves article, but couldn't. I think Curves if for people who have never really exercised before. I think those of us who have find it boring.
Sorry you didn't like it, thanks for the warning..... :o)
