L'Oreale EverStrong Reconstruct Conditioner - Product Review

It seems there is a new hair care product coming onto the market every week. They all make fantastic claims and the commercials imply that if you use them they will "change your life." I happened to be out shopping last week and came face to face with one of those impulse buy displays for L'Oreal® EverStrong Conditioner. The tube was a very appealing green and the accent color was purple. It immediately brought to mind the wild violets now blooming in my backyard. I couldn't resist and the following is my product experience.

You should know that the EverStrong line is an array of products designed to "reconstruct" the hair. There is a shampoo, a conditioner, an overnight repair treatment and a deep replenishing masque. And, as with all product lines, it is recommended that you use them in concert. L'Oreal® EverStrong Reconstruct Conditioner, according to the tube, "...gently conditions while strengthening hair to prevent breakage and tame frizz. Nourishes damaged hair and leaves hair strong and silky."

As I am at the gym or out walking every day, I have to wash my hair often. Constant shampooing robs the hair of natural oils and the sulfates contained in many shampoos, coupled with the chemicals in the city water are not kind to the hair. I was anxious to see if this product could get rid of the frizz and improve my hair's texture. My first reaction, when I squeezed it out of the tube, was that it was thick and heavy-intense. My second reaction was mmmmm, it smells really nice, clean, fresh. I was immediately reminded that my great grandmother used to boil herbs such as rosemary, lavender and mint to make a rinse for hair-she was a firm believer in the power of herbs.

I have been using the product for a little over a week now and have seen some improvement in the "frizz factor." The scent left in my hair is very pleasant and follows me most of the day. The scent alone is enough to keep me using it, even if I didn't see an improvement in my hair. If I close my eyes and take a deep whiff of it, it has a calming effect-like a mini spa day. I've found other people sniffing it and some people have commented on how "clean" I smell or ask me what perfume I'm using. L'Oreal® has struck a chord with their choice of scents in EverStrong Reconstruct Conditioner. I would recommend you give it a try. I intend to try some of the other products in the line very soon.
