Los Angeles' Best Dog Kennels

Faith Dosier
Sometimes as much as we love our sweet hounds we just can't take them with us everywhere we go. Luckily there are doggy dare care and doggy kennels that will lovingly take care your awesome pooches when they can't go everywhere with us. It is important to make sure there are placed in a place that will treat them as well as we would so I've compiled a short list of the best dog kennels in the Los Angeles area.

The Kennel Club Lax is located near the Los Angeles Airport at 5325 W. 102nd Street in Los Angeles (310) 338-9166 and they offer awesome boarding accommodations. They offer Standard, Cottage and VIP Boarding and no matter which one you pick they are all superb. The standard care consists of indoor gated rooms with a raised floor and bedding. If you want a step up there is Cottage Boarding and that's fit for a king or queen. Your doggy will be placed in one of 14 especially themed cottages that come with a luxury bed and a TV/VCR. Their most exclusive it consists of a full-sized cage free environment with constant group play and companionship.

The Urban Dog in Los Angeles is located at 1909 Pontious Ave (310) 445-1447. This is a lovely place for your dog to hang out. It's very fun for dogs that come here. Their facility has little tykes play sets for their enjoyment and their dog's doggy kennels dog wranglers take them out for a walk. They have nap time scheduled from 12:00 to 2:00pm. The Urban Dog also organizes field trips too. The dogs sleep in kennel runs or a crate with a friend or their handpicked mate. They also provide all grooming and full spa treatment so you can create a great experience for your pets while you are away.

LA Dogworks in Hollywood is at 1014 North Highland Avenue (323) 461-5151. They have a huge 2,500 square foot indoor facility. They do full grooming in their state of the art facility and spa treatments and aromatherapy is also offered too. You pets while at this dog kennel are supervised 24-hours a day and are in great hands while in their open spaced un-caged facility. They also have a flat panel television for their enjoyment that plays animal planet and other dog centered entertainment. It's a very loving place where dogs have their choice of sleeping on a top bunk or a lower bunk.
