The Ivy House is Located in the Los Angeles Suburb in the City of Inglewood and I've been to three wedding there and the chapel is absolutely beautiful. From the outside you might think that the venue is low brow but once you walk through the door you are taken to a whole different world. It small yet spacious and intimate all at the same time, you must see this one to believe it. It definitely is like stepping into a fantasy world. You can have your wedding and reception there or just do the wedding only. They are full service so they can take of Photos, video, catering, flowers everything you need in a beautiful tranquil garden setting. It located at 705 S. Inglewood Ave in Inglewood Ca (310) 673-4000.
Now if you feel like putting on the Ritz and doing your wedding in true L.A. Style the City Club on Bunker Hill is the place for you. The City Club is a Private Club is Los Angeles and it sit on top of the Wells Fargo Building. I've been fortunate enough to attend a wedding there many years ago and all I can say is that City Club is absolutely magnificent. Having a wedding here make a statement; it's the type of wedding that you see in the movies where everyone is dressed to the nines and the who's who behind the scenes are there. There are three different rooms to choose from for your wedding The Angeles, La Cima, and Las Colinas and they seat anywhere from 100 to two hundred guest depending on which room you're using you could be overlooking the Pasadena Foothills, The lovely California Beaches, or the North Valley. I recommend the North Valley view it is beautiful on a clear day. You should check out this venues awesome woodwork and floor to ceiling windows it is to die for. They are located at 333 S. Grand Ave in Downtown Los Angeles (213) 620-0895.
My Final favorite Los Angeles winter wedding venue is Oviatt Penthouse in Los Angeles. The Oviatt is a sensual explosion of Art Deco Magnificence that must be seen to truly appreciate it. It has a Maximum occupancy of 125 so keep that in mind when planning you wedding. The most amazing thing aside from the awesome architecture is the 360 degree all around view. There is a fully equipped kitchen and heated lamps too so even in the winter you and your guest will be warm and cozy throughout your entire event. The Oviatt Penthouse is Located at 617 South Olive Street in the Heart of Los Angeles (213) 488-9951.

Post a CommentI'm a little surprised by this recent article. The Ivy House was closed down in 2007 because of fraud. They took tons of couples deposits and shut down their facility. You may want to update the article.
I can imagine the beauty of a winter wedding in CA. :)
Great locations :)
