Los Angeles, CA Restaurant Review: Trattoria Amici

Trattoria Amici in Los Angeles is not just another restaurant, this place is about giving to the community. For the past 13 years they have participated in the Los Angeles community in a way that totally shows the other restaurants up. There is a very romantic and rustic touch to this restaurant and you will enjoy every moment spent here. There is a romantic patio garden that is just perfect for you and your loved one. One thing that you are sure to experience here is great service. The fact that they go out and serve their community, you bet they are just as good at serving their own guests.

I would say that the overall feeling that you get from this place is very cozy. The ceilings are low and it makes it seem like the restaurant is smaller than it really is. It will give you kind of a homey feel. I don't know if that is what they were trying to accomplish, but you will feel nice and cozy.

Even though this has a really romantic environment this is a great place to bring your kids. This is not a pretentious restaurant where people would look at you like you are crazy if you brought your kids here. You can ask your wonderful waiter or waitress what are the best options for kids,

This restaurant is only open for lunch and dinner. My advice to you would be to make reservations. This is kind of a hot spot so it is really better in any situation to have reservations. What is nice about them is that they seat their customers promptly they don't keep their customers waiting and that is always a good thing.

If you are in the mood for having something fresh then you should try their salads, they are truly refreshing. You can enjoy the lobster dinner that comes with an apple salad or you could give their Turkey Lasagna a try. You would not be able to imagine this, but their lasagna is actually pretty light! Most lasagna's are pretty heavy, but somehow this one is not! I have no idea how they do that!

What is nice about this restaurant is that it is not only great for kids, but it good for large groups. There are private rooms that you can reserve for special events or if you are just going to have a large group and you would like some privacy.

I think that the price is pretty good! You could spend about $30 per person and that does include two glasses of wine. So, if you decide to skip out on the wine and just have soda or an iced tea you could cut down that price pretty good.

My only warning is to not let them stick you in the dark. There are a few little nooks throughout the restaurant and they tend to be a little dark. Some people may not mind, but I thought that I would just let you know!
