Los Angeles is Known for Entertainment but is Also High in Crime

This is about Los Angeles city in California. Los Angeles city is a very well known city because of Hollywood. Most TV shows are filmed in Hollywood, and lots of viewers all over the world have heard of Los Angeles. Hollywood is one of the fascinating thing about Los Angeles, California. Hollywood has all the movie stars and the rock stars and all other stars. People come to Hollywood to visit the film studios, and the museums. One well known tourist attraction is Universal Studios, it has many beautiful sights to see and many shops and restaurants and film museum.

Los Angeles attractions are the Stable stadium, LA convention center, LA sports arena, Santa Monica beach and all the filming studios like Warner Brothers, Fox, CBS, KTLA. LA; where it is the place for job seekers in many field. There are lots of opportunities here such as acting, singing or anything in Entertainment. However, Entertainment is the well known field that people move to this city to work for. There are many jobs opening in the filming industry as well as acting, singing, dancing, modeling and many more. LA is the place to move to if you have passion or went to school for Entertainment.

Apart from the jobs opportunities, Los Angeles streets are the worst in California. The streets in downtown especially are filled with thousands of homeless sleeping in boxes or just sleeping in bags. The homeless can attack you if you walk by, they can steal from you, they can beg from you all of the time making you feel very bad if you don't donate to them. There is not one street in downtown LA that is not congested with homeless. I wonder why do these people allow themselves to become homeless and they don't even care about doing better things for themselves. It is commonly known that these individuals are drug-addicts or alcoholics and they don't want to help themselves. In Orange County , which is next to LA, there is not a lot of homeless like LA. Venice beach in LA has lots of homeless wandering around too, make it very difficult for you to have a safe and good time at the beach. I wouldn't go to Venice beach because of the homeless, I would go to Malibu beach , it is very lovely and clean with no homeless. Malibu beach is where most of the movie stars live.

If you're ever visiting downtown LA just watch out for your purse and personal belongings and make sure no one jump into your car. Lets talk about the parking in LA. In downtown LA, there is no free parking any where on the streets. You have to pay a rate to park anywhere. Some shopping centers will let you park for a few hours for free, but they usually tow your car if you leave it too long and this is no joke. Therefore, if you will be visiting you need to bring money to pay for parking. The streets are very small and congested with cars and pedestrians, not such a great sight. There are many one way street and you have to beware so you don't get into a crash. This is very likely for visitors driving in the night time. The drivers in LA are horrible, they are wreck less and rude and they might beat you up if you honk them. You have to be careful of how to talk to certain people in LA, they are not known for courtesy.

I want to talk about the crime in LA. The crime rate is high including robbery and gang violence. There were many robbery mostly liquor store robbery reported in the News. There are many gang violence and shootings and drugs related crime. There are many illegal drug users in LA. You might not want to invest in opening up a business in some part of LA like downtown LA or East LA, because you have a high chance of robbery and shootings. You might not want to investing in buying a home to live here or to raise your children here because of violence . You don't want your children to get hurt or go to public school here, they may have very bad influences. They might get into fights or be persuaded to use drug or join a gang. LA is not the place to have a nice, safe home to raise children.
