You may also have heard about the pounds that the celebrities lose when they start their dance training as well. This is just some of the proof that you can lose weight dancing.
How to Lose Weight Dancing
Dance-based workouts are getting more and more popular. You don't have to go to the gym and do 100 squats and crunches to get a good workout in. People are starting to realize that dancing is an awesome way to burn fat and calories while having fun.
The key to losing weight by dancing is to make sure you are keeping your heart rate up in your calorie burning zone. This is definitely not hard to do if you really get into your music and dancing. Most people don't even realize their hear rate is elevated when they are dancing because they are enjoying it so much.
Along with regular dance workouts you must also be aware of your diet. Just like any type of workout you can dance for 40 minutes and go home and eat 2500 calories and expect to lose weight. You need to keep a clean and healthy diet full of lean protein, vegetables, fruits, and whole grains if you really want to see the weight loss.

Dance classes are definitely just not for kids. There are dance studios as well as gyms and recreation centers that offer dance classes for adults. A choreographed dance class is a great way to lose weight dancing because you are being taught by a person who is trained in dance and knows what to do so that you don't get injured. There are plenty of different types of dance classes to choose from such as hip hop, jazz, ballet, belly-dancing, and even ballroom dancing. You may even get your significant other to join you for some salsa or samba lessons and get to lose weight at the same time!
