Start your day out by eating a well-balanced breakfast every single day. I don't mean coffee and a donut, or even eggs and bacon. I mean well-balanced, with healthy foods from different food groups. A lean protein, some kind of fresh produce, and a whole-grain carbohydrate is idea; You could have a bowl of cereal with low fat milk and a banana, or an egg-white omelet with opinions and green peppers, and a piece of whole wheat toast.
Eating a breakfast with a combinations of nutrients will help sustain you through out the day. A combination of complex carbs and protein will keep your metabolism in balance, so you burn fat throughout the rest of the day.
If you can handle it, try to incorporate a serving of vegetables in the morning meal. You need five servings every day, why not spread them out? Just because most people don't doesn't mean you can make your own routine for how you eat your meals.
The more you eat in the morning, the less you need to consume during the rest of the day, and especially at night, when your body might not want to burn fat as quickly.
