Lose Weight Fast on a Raw Diet

Kelly Fleming
People want to lose weight for a variety of reasons whether you have recently had a baby, or maybe you are just getting older and your metabolism is not up to par anymore. The raw diet will help you to lose weight fast. This is perfect if you have only a short period of time to drop those unwanted pounds.

The raw diet consists of no meat and little dairy. You will have to make this fit in with your lifestyle and arrange this program to work for you. Decide how much weight you want to lose and set a goal. On the raw diet you can usually lose around 5 pounds in one week. To be safe because everyone is different you should adjust this to 3 or 4 pounds. Light exercising not to strenuous is recommended, but not required to be on this diet.

Start putting together your diet. All raw fruits and vegetables are what you will be eating. You will also use tuna fish and eggs. These will be where you will get most of your protein from. You can eat as many fruits and vegetables that you want a day. An example diet consists of:

Morning:

1 banana

1 apple

1 cucumber

1 tomato

Lunch:

Strawberries (no sugar)

1 cucumber

1 tomato

2 Bananas

Dinner:

Salad*this has Fat free not reduced fat salad dressing*

1 hard boiled egg

***Switch the days from salad to tuna fish if you like miracle whip or mayonnaise use fat free.

Protein drinks can also be added to the diet to make sure that you are getting enough protein for the day. You can switch this around to make it fit for you. Vitamins are necessary when on this diet, because you will be lacking some of the nutrients that you need. Make sure to consult your Doctor before starting this. Underlying health problems can be a concern

This diet is very hard to be on. You will need to make sure your lifestyle can handle this. Every two weeks give yourself a treat, but you have to be careful. Buying a Big Mac will almost definitely make you sick. You will need to try something with less grease, fat, and calories. You can try a chicken salad with regular dressing or something that is light. Every 2 weeks continue treating yourself until you reach your goal. When you diet is over you will need to ease back into meat and other related foods again. You have been off of these for awhile. Introducing these foods right away will definitely make you sick. To avoid getting back to this point try eating in moderation and exercising.
