Lose Weight and Get Thinner for Summer, Fast but Healthy
You know you want to lose weight, and you want to do it fast. Unfortunately, fast usually means unsafe, unhealthy, and sadly, most of the weight will come back long before summer ever gets here.
There's good news though!
You can lose weight fast and keep it off, if you have a little willpower and are willing to get up and move a little too.
We've all heard the "Lose Weight Fast" scams, dangerous weight-loss medications, even more dangerous weight-loss supplements, weight-loss diet drinks, weight-loss diet plans, weight-loss... how come they haven't come up with a weight0loss pizza yet? I could buy into that diet plan.
I think you get the point though. Losing weight and the entire weight loss market has become a buzz word, a multi-BILLION dollar industry, and has cost countless lives and health-related problems.
The very best way to lose weight and keep it off is (drum roll please) eat less and move more!
But if you're truly looking to lose weight fast, the alternative to just eating less and moving more, is picking the rights foods to eat. If you are eating the right foods, you can almost eat an unlimited amount of food, literally feel stuffed to the gills, and you'll still lose weight, and better yet, you'll keep it off, and be healthier too.
Lose Weight Fast and Healthy Secret:
Quit eating processed foods and eat only organic, natural fresh foods. I'm not saying not to ever eat anything cooked. This isn't a raw foods diet. What I am saying is to cut out anything processed, with additives, color-altered, injected, sugar added, high fructose corn syrup containing foods.
Instead, eat fresh vegetables, without butter and tons of salt. Eat as much 'white' meat as possible, as in chicken, turkey, and lean cuts of trimmed pork. If you MUST eat red meat, choose natural meats with nothing added from cattle that were not fed hormones and were 100% grain fed. Yes, it's a little more expensive, but since you're going to be eating a lot less meat, you'll actually save money in the long run.
When you need something sweet, you can have FOUR whole apples with the skins for fewer calories than most snack cakes contain, and you'll feel fuller and have more energy. Watermelon, the real kind and not the candied stuff, is mostly water. Did you know you can eat an ENTIRE large watermelon for fewer calories than one double meat hamburger with cheese? Which do you think will fill you up better? One burger or an entire watermelon?
Don't believe me? A 10-12-pound watermelon has about 490 calories, giver or take depending on how naturally sugary that melon is. A SINGLE Jack in the Box hamburger with cheese, according to their website, has about 420 calories, AND that burger has 71 grams of fat.
Any guess how much fat is in a watermelon?
TWO - For the ENTIRE watermelon! Not to mention the watermelon has lycophene, which is great for prostate health, and lots of other vitamins a burger doesn't have!
A medium-sized apple has approximately 100 calories and lots of nutrients and natural fiber. You could eat four medium apples or five smaller apples for the calories in one burger, and again, look at the fat and nutrient difference.
You see, the mistake in eating isn't in HOW MUCH people eat, but rather in the choices people make. It's true, at first, it's hard to give up the fried, broiled, buttered and fat-laden foods.
However, about two weeks into eating fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and organic meats, you will be absolutely amazed at how wonderful REAL food tastes. Natural skim cheeses, wheat and grained crackers instead of white bread, wheat pasta when you must have pasta, and lots and lots of fruits and veggies, and you will be amazed how much you can eat, how full you will feel, and how much healthier you'll be.
Weight loss or gain is less about WHAT you eat and more about HOW you think and feel about the food you eat and the image of yourself and your body that you hold in your mind. Think yourself thin, eat healthy foods and feel better, give the body the nutrition it needs, and skip the junk. You WILL lose weight, quickly, healthily, and permenantly!
