Did you know that losing ten pounds can be as easy as eating 100 calories less a day for a year? This is a good rule of thumb to refer to when deciding on your caloric intake in your personal weight loss plan. Simply switching to diet soda (or water) or using fat-free, reduced calorie salad dressing can really add up to a big difference on the scale. As for exercise, there is no need to go over-board. Easy options to increase your activity level include parking further away from the entrance at the mall or taking a brisk walk every evening. The important thing to remember is that you need to increase your activity level from it's current point.
Don't stop eating. Write this on a piece of paper and tape it to your refrigerator: "Eat Less, and Eat more Often". Skipping meals can slow down your metabolism and encourage binging. Eating small meals 5-6 times a day keeps your metabolism in check and keeps you satisfied.
A way to increase your meatbolism is as simple as what you drink. Green Tea has 40 mg less caffiene than coffee and also aids in increasing the bodys metabolism. There are many varieties of green tea available in local supermarkets. Try them out. You may be pleasantly suprised at what a refreshing taste green tea has.
With some basic changes to your everyday eating and exercise habits you can be on the right path to lose weight fast and in a healthy way.
