Herbs may pay a significant role in weight loss. They may act as a stimulant to make the body burn calories, as a diuretic to remove fluids from the body into the urine, as a laxative to prevent full digestion and absorption, by cleansing and removing waste quickly from the colon, or as an appetite suppressant to lessen hunger, according to eMedical.com website. Drinking herbal teas is an easy way to gain these benefits.
Herbal supplements should be taken with the advice and supervision of your health-care provider.
