Losing Weight with the Subway Diet
Jared Fogle Has Lost Hundreds of Pounds by Eating Subway; Can You?
One of the things that Jared is quoted as saying on the Subway website is that he ate 1 six-inch sub for lunch and 1 footlong sub for dinner each day. For lunch, he had a turkey sub with lots of veggies, but no cheese or mayonnaise. He did, however, use a little of Subway's spicy mustard. For dinner, he treated himself to a footlong vegetable sub, but again he held the mayonnaise and the mustard. Doing this every day for just under a year helped him to lose over 200 pounds. Of course, he didn't just sit around all day and eat Subway food. Instead, he made a regular effort to get the appropriate exercise each day by simply walking about a mile or two.
Many people wonder whether or not they can get down to their desired weight with simply a Subway diet. By eating Subway it does seem very possible that one could lose weight successfully. Of course, making an exercise routine wouldn't be bad either. But something has to be said for Subway's sub sandwiches. They market their food with the slogan that they have seven sub sandwiches with six grams of fat or less. When considering the other fast food options available, Subway seems like an enticing choice! Of course, the seven subs under six grams of fat changes a little when you pile on the mayonnaise, mustard, and cheeses.
If you do decide to embark on a Subway diet journey, though, you are not alone. Many people have tried to use Subway as a starting point for their diet journey and have lost weight successfully. Considering that some of Subway's sub sandwiches have only about 275 calories in them, the reality of a Subway diet actually seems attainable.
But the number one obstacle in your way to achieving a weight loss goal through a Subway diet is your motivation. If you are motivated and desire to lose weight as Jared Fogle desired, success may just be right around the corner. However, if you're one of those people who say that you need to lose weight but then don't do anything about it, you may need a harder push. But one thing is for certain and that is that Subway does have healthy food alternatives that are just as good, if not better, than other fast food restaurants. Sticking with Subway instead of the Burger Giant will get you right on track with that weight loss goal!
