1. Esau (rep's black), is Christian Shephard on the island. When Claire was found in the cabin with Christian, it was when they found a brake in the ash line that protected jacob in that cabin. While in the cabin, she referred to christian as her new 'friend'. In the lighthouse, Claire's friend is John Locke, who is Smokey.
2. Wallace is the last name listed on the number 108. 108 was the number Jacob wanted Hurley too turn the number to. However, the name was crossed out.
3. Other names on the wheel that were crossed out were Rousseau (20), Lewis (104), Friendly (109), Linus (117), Dawson (124).
4. Names that were not crossed out include, Austen (52), as well as Jarrah (16), Ford (15).
5. Jack sees three images in the mirror:
- The pagoda where Jin and Sun got married, where Jacob visited them.
- The Church, where Jacob approaches Sawyer after his parents funeral.
- Jack's childhood house, definitely NOT when he visited Jack. He visited him at the hospital, when he helped with the vending machine.
6. The MacCutcheon Whiskey Jack's mother offers Jack is the same drink Charles Widmore and Anthony Cooper have been drinking throughout the show.
7. The Annotated Alice is the book Jack claims he read to David is his 'alt-verse', is the same book he reads to Aaron once he gets off the island.
8. Notice the biblical background of the Shephard family. Christian, Jack and David.
9. Jack's Appendix in the alt-verse was removed when he was seven. Originally, it was removed on the island. After his flight he notices a scar that should not be there if the operation was at the age of seven.
Things to think about:
Jacob probably wanted Jack to brake his mirrors. He is dead, and Esau could've probably used them. When they first meet the Asian guy with Lennon he brakes the ancient symbol for immortality and finds a list. This list now seems like it was the list of candidates, since he only asked for last names. A candidate to take Jacob or Esau position? Is this implying Jacob and Esau are immortal, or stuck in jumping time loops forever? Also, Ben Linus knows more than he says, even now. Don't forget his devious ways.
