Lost in February

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
Too gloomy
So dark
Morning comes
With no promises

The snow has melted
Lawns soaked with mud
What lies ahead
On Mother Nature's tapestry?

I am alone
wondering
longing
for new hope
of spring!
