First of all, I was discouraged that all the advertising for the season premiere was saying that it would be an all-new 2 hour event. The first hour was just a recap of what has happened so far in the show. The last hour was all that was new about it. I was upset about that because the advertisements were misleading about it. However, it was kind of nice to be taken back through all that had happened because after such a long wait, I forgot some of the things that happened.
I watched the season closer last year confused because of the very end where they show Jack and Kate talking by the airport and Jack keeps saying "We're supposed to go back". I was so confused on what that was all about, because all the previous episodes showed flashbacks of the character's lives before they got to the island, so I just assumed that they were still showing flashbacks and I thought that maybe Jack and Kate knew each other before they got to the island. Then, in watching the recap last night, I realized that that was not a flashback, it was a glimpse into the future of the character's lives after they got off the island. The whole season premiere last night showed glimpses into the future of the character's lives. I don't know what I think about this yet. There were some parts that just flat-out confused me, as I'm sure that is the point, and some parts that answered some of my questions about the plot.
All in all the season opener was pretty good in my opinion. I think that the writers did a good job of keeping us guessing as to when these people will get off the island and if all of them even will get off the island. I like how they brought Charlie back as a ghost. That part was my favorite!
I look forward to watching the rest of season 4 of Lost and hopefully the show will keep all of its loyal fans hooked for another season! I have no doubt that they will!

Post a CommentLost season 1-3 drove me crazy, it made me curiosed about the end of season 3. I didn't watched the season 4 premeire of Lost the another night because I missed it. So, are the survivors got off in the island? what happened to Jack?
