Well, Charlie is dead and if you are anything like me it probably took you the better half of the summer to forgive the powers that be at Lost for killing him off. I spent half my summer in vein going over scenarios that would have him popping up alive, but unfortunately non of them seem plausible. So, we have been forced to grieve the loss of this beloved character and move on. Season four of Lost will undoubtedly be an exciting one, given the circumstances we were left with on the cliffhanger season finale. In the tradition of most obsessive viewers I have been scouring the internet searching for spoilers about season four of Lost. So, if you like being surprised stop reading now!

The end of season three of Lost left viewers with many questions. If the people on Naomi's boat aren't with Penny, who the heck are they and what makes them so terrible? How in blue blazes did Locke survive that shooting get out of the hole Ben pushed him in and make it to the rest of the survivors? Is Ben telling the truth about the people on the boat? How are we now watching the future of the characters rather than the flashbacks? Last, but not least who in the heck was in that coffin at the funeral home that Jack visited in his flash forward? All these questions are sure to segway into a fantastic season four of Lost.

The first spoiler that I personally got wind of was that the infamous Michael would be returning to the Island this year. Know this is an interesting little fact, because we all remember how Michael left the island. The last time we saw Michael he was pretty much fending for himself and his son Walt leaving the rest of the survivors to deal with the others on their own after negotiating with them the use of a boat to leave the island. Michael's last few story lines were explosively controversial when he shot Anna Lucia and Libby in attempt to free himself and free his son from the others.

Another spoiler or explanation of sorts is that they will now be including flash forwards regularly along with flashbacks. This may provide viewers with a certain level of confusion while initially watching a flashback or forward, but none the less it is sure to be an interesting addition to the in depth format of Lost. I know personally, that the flash forward last year left me analyzing the information given until my head hurt.

The last spoilers that I will touch on in this article are related to the information that has been floating around about the season premiere of Lost. The general consensus is that the first episode of Lost Fourth season will center around Hurley. There is little known about the plot of this episode, but the there are a few bits and pieces floating around. It is rumored that the first episode of Lost will introduce a new Character, although some reports have him turning up in the mid-season premiere rather than the season launch so we will have to wait and see. The new character on Lost is rumored to be named Russell. Russell is a mathematician in his 30's . The buzz on the internet is that he will be played by Ken Leung and that the character will be knowledgeable about various fields of scientific study in addition to math. Another character that is said to be joining Lost, possibly in the first episode is Arthur Stevens. Little is known about Arthur Stevens other than the fact that he will play an intimidating corporate recruiter and that he is most likely older.

What is known about the second episode of Lost fourth season is pretty vague. There is rumor that a new female character will be introduced in episode two. It is rumored that her name will be Charlotte and that she is in her twenties. Her general description reads similar to a description of Kate other than the fact that she is described as an academic.

Once the season starts heating up the spoilers are sure to become more plentiful. Typical of the season premiere of any television series the cast and crew have let very little information leak as of yet. Keep your eyes on the internet though, because mid-season the internet really heats up with tons of Lost gossip and spoilers.

Yeah, they claimed to kill Charlie off because his "arc" was done. Because he was off drugs officially, they thought he was no longer interesting. If that was the rule, than shouldn't nearly all the castaways still be dead? I'm still ticked that he's gone. He was one of the more interesting characters, now they just keep piling on new people. To me that's lazy writing, getting rid of a firmly established character because you're stumped about what to do with him, but fly in four more...crap.
