And how do you fit into my scheme of things?
And you there, Sky,
Why do you care when I cry?
You fit into the world's eye like a lens
And make things a little more clear,
Giving everything a new golden hue
Or different angle of light, and
Sometimes, the appropriate shade of night.
Sometimes, late at night,
When I'm feeling lost in my own driveway
I'll stare up at the sky.
Looking up through the crack in my windshield
I count the planets and wonder how I fit into their line.
Please tell me I'm not wasting my time.
Why is my heart keeping time with the radio?
Is this my song?
How do I know this is my station?
Oh Sky, it looks like
There are some things
You just can't shed light on!
