Lost.Word.
something got loose
inside; escaped
to the world outside
one summer afternoon.
lost, the ghost-word
whispers in my ear, muttering
what you did not want
me to hear, did not want
me to forget.
thoughts
scribbled in a second
for remembrance - but where?
too late, damage done; a life-
time heard in a split-
second; too much,
too soon, and now
the thought i thought
to recall has escaped all
thought;
something got loose
inside; escaped
to the outside - once more
word is lost - and now?
i forgot
where i put the word.
Heart.

Post a CommentFunny, started out as a railing against writer's block - not certain where it ended up though!
Potent and emotive. Well done.
