Lou Dobbs' On-Air Resignation Brings Liberals Joy

"Urged to Go Beyond His Current Role"

"Lou Dobbs resigns from CNN' is the trumpeting article on The Los Angeles Times written by Matea Gold about the resignation CNN host Lou Dobbs. CNN host Lou Dobbs resigned on the air.

As we examine the situation it basically comes down to the fact that Lou Dobbs, a 25-plus year CNN anchor, who would be described no doubt as a "Conservative," is not happy about the people from Mexico who come illegally to the United States. In fact I think it is fair to say he is not happy with immigration policy in general. He as many, feel that there is lot of "shadow boxing" going on in the Obama administration. In fact he is irritated that Obama won't put things to rest like his birth certificate proof. I don't like that either.

However, Dobbs' opinion and comments have caused consternation within the CNN organization and so ultimately he decided to move on and resigned on the air saying he had been "urged to go beyond my role here" that may include running for political office.

Part of the problem with carrying Lou Dobbs as an employee was that CNN/Money ran the risk of getting the rap given to Fox that they were not "fair and balanced."

CNN is attempting to be viewed as a news organization that presents news in a "fair" manner. However, there is the rub. News isn't always "fair and balanced."

The people who are happy by the resignation of Lou Dobbs were the liberals who immediately referred to him as a "liar."

There has even been a suggestion that he will run for the presidency.

Some of the goods we are being sold right now are wrong.

When I was a freshman in college I was excited because I wanted to be a student senator and I thought I had found a way to "achieve the dream."

There were three people handing out ballots without 30 names on them each. My name was number 13 and there were going to be 13 senators.

Of the three people handing out ballots two were good friends.

I was just going to have my friends say "The top 13 are your best choices."

That would get me elected.

I had a friend at my church that was at a ball game with me one day and I told him my plan.

He said "I know you well enough to know you know that is cheating." After I hemmed and hawed around awhile he said "If you try and play both sides of the fence you'll get in trouble sooner or later."

If there isn't some disagreement in our commentary we'll ultimately fall for anything.

"Joy" at the resignation of Dobbs? Nowhere near as much joy as conservatives expressed when they smeared and attempted to ruin the DIXIE CHICKS ... for telling the truth about Bush's fabricated justification for invading and killing in Iraq. Conservative liars gave us the worst president in American history and tried to destroy anyone who told the truth about him. Par for the course given the fascism that has taken hold of the Republican Party - they are all liars and will fade away like the rabid Lou Dobbs.

Dobbs why did you become weak--this is whats wrong with people they speak the truth and then become afraid of a group of people that don't even belong.
