Louisiana Dad Admitted to Decapitating His Son
A Louisiana dad, Jeremiah Lee Wright, admitted that he decapitated his 7-year-old son on Sunday. Wright gave up his right to an attorney, and admitted to police that he killed his son. His excuse was he was tired of caring for the boy who had cerebral palsy. The boy had heart problems, he had a feeding tube and he had to use a wheelchair. What kind of man kills his own son because of physical problems? What kind of mental problems does did this man have? Did anyone notice that things were not right with him?
Wright was taken to the police station and after an hour he confessed to this horrible crime. The boy, Jori Loritte, not only was decapitated, his feet were cut off as well as one hand. This Louisiana dad decapitated his son and talked about it as it he was discussing what he had for lunch. After killing his son, he left the body by the side of the road in order for the boy's mom to see it when she got home, according to the Times Free Press. The mother was out getting her truck fixed so that she could take the boy to the doctor for his appointment.
Wright also told police that he wanted the boy's mother to feel stupid when she saw his head. This Louisiana dad decapitated his son over the kitchen sink. If this story doesn't give you the chills, then nothing will. To think that this man held his son over the kitchen sink and cut off his head is too much for a normal person to comprehend.
According to what boy's mother said she and Wright had been together for 10 years but she planned to leave him. It is a shame she didn't put her plan into action a lot sooner.
Police had been to the home a few weeks ago but there were no arrests. Wright does have an arrest record, but for any type of violent crimes. He is being held on $5 million bail, so hopefully he will remain in jail and never see the light of day again.
This man obviously has some mental problems but at least he confessed and Louisiana won't have to pay for a long trial. Our sympathy goes out to the family of this little boy.
