Louisville Night Life Review: Club Fuzion
Neighborhood: Crescent Hill

Located on Story Avenue and serving mostly a gay clientle, Club Fuzion is a beautiful club that mixes modern design and colorful lights with brick walls and archways. The dance floor is huge, the music great, and it has three bars, making it a great place to check out when out enjoying the Louisville night life.

The goth and alternative scene has been a part of Louisville night life for years, but they recently lost their weekly night at another club. Club Fuzion has decided to host a goth/industrial night once a month on the fourth Friday of each month with a five dollar cover. I attended the goth/industrial night last night and the five dollar cover was well worth it as it included a drink ticket given at the door for one free domestic or well. There was a funny and entertaining show including performance art (a bit on the dark side) and then DJ Kaleidascope spun great industrial sounds for the rest of the night which made their huge dance floor (with stage) the best I've been on in a long time. As I've really been looking for a great dance floor lately, I was ecstatic.

The drink prices were quite reasonable as well considering how nice of a club it was. Great design and a lot of money went into this place, and the wells run about $3 while they also offered $1 Fuzion shots ( a fruity concoction named after the club). These drink prices can't be beat at other clubs with comparable design that make up the Louisville night life. The drinks were also made on the strong side.

There are plenty of nooks and crannies in this place to get nice and cozy with someone, too. Dark corners and areas have couches to lounge in comfort and their VIP area has plush couches and mattress size seating areas adorned with throw pillows and tapestries hanging around them. They are quite comfy.

They also have darts and the upstairs sports two billiards tables, completely separate from the rest of the club if you'd rather have a quieter evening shooting some billiards. Club Fuzion has many different areas to have a good time whether you want to lounge around, chat with others at a bar, throw some darts or enjoy the huge dance floor. I'm happy to welcome this new club to the Louisville night life scene. One thing to be aware of to avoid confusion or time wasted looking for a women's room: they have two unisex bathrooms - and they glow!
