Love in 100, Silly, Nonsensical and Somewhat Sophomoric Words or Less

Daniel Ness
Look into my eyes,
See the fire inside.
Flames burning within,
Such warmth has never been.

You were my vision,
I faltered with indecision
To find your side,
I needed the wind to ride.

Sometimes while I muse,
Looking for an excuse,
Why, oh why,
Did I never try?

Then you came along,
A blue jay in song.
Serenity of a dove,
Sent from God above.

That smile on your face,
My heart has no escape.
Nor will it rush,
From that angelic touch.

Joy fills my soul,
From crown to sole.
Even to this dunce,
Love comes only once.
