Love is in the Air in Pop Culture Land

Love is in the air in Pop Culture Land this summer. It seems that now is the time for celebrities to tie the knot. Two major celebrities just made headlines with wedding bells and marriage in the air; country music star Carrie Underwood and rapper T.I.. But these were not the only two celebrities to make marriage headlines this year.

Omg! On Yahoo! has reported that rapper T.I. Is getting ready to tie the knot once again. This time the lucky lady and wife to be is BET channel reality star Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle. This is the second time they have exchanged vows, the first coming one day earlier in a Miami courthouse. You can also see photos of country pop culture phenomenon Carrie Underwood, also featured on omg! On Yahoo! Carrie Underwood recently walked down the aisle with NFL football star Mike Fisher. She was performing and talking on the Today show, where she was speaking about being a newlywed and married life.

Of course, no wedding article written in 2010 can consider itself complete without even mentioning the Chelsea Clinton wedding. The former First Daughter wed the Marc Mezvinsky, the son of Iowa congressman Edward Mezvinsky, and NBC reporter Marjorie Margolies. The biggest speculation about Clelsea Clinton's celebrity wedding is the sheer cost of it all. The New York Daily Newsthe wedding costing upwards of five million dollars, but ABC has put the hefty cost at a much lower level; somewhere I the two million dollar range. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Chelsea Clinton celebrity wedding train just rolling into the small town of Rhinebeck has turned it into a circus.

The Office stays in the headlines during its off-season thanks to a couple of its major stars having their celebrity weddings within mere days of each other. Jenna Fischer, who plays Pam - Jim's wife, wed her beau Lee Kirk, a writer, on July 3, 2010. Just days later, John Krasinski, who plays Jim - Pam's husband, wed fellow celebrity Emily Blunt.

Megan Fox and former 90's pop culture star Brian Austin Green said their I Do's on June 24, 2010, which was a surprise to many. In what has to be an omen, Megan Fox lost her original engagement and has since had to have it replaced. Lets hope I am wrong about that being an omen.

Good luck to all of our celebrities who have proven their love this summer for our enjoyment.
