Love, Electric

Arkay Evans
Love is the electrical storm in my hair,
The fruit that has no shelf life,
The eyes that have no stare,
Only fools withhold her sustinence,
as love spoils when trapped inside,
Her stormy swirling, forming tears,
in northern and southern hemispheres,
and skies of passion building pressure
till mother let's her loving go,
and licks my lips to drip the liquid words of love,
because I AM the thirst, a raging earth
receiving love to grow,
mine is not contained, but shown-
and I still see back where I believed my silence known,
resistant to resistence,
and those who tried to take me there,
I know it is a gift to be grateful,
older and braver,
beautiful, I'm lighting an electric flame
sane and capable and spared,
I am willing and able
to bring a love that has no bottle to the table,
Electric Love
that's to be shared
