Love Explained

Elisa Ashley

My heart leaps inside my chest

Your voice I treasure

Your impossibly large incredibly blue eyes

look at me

Your long lashes brush my cheek

when I bend to kiss you

Your porcelain skin

unbelievably smooth

You look like a dream.

The curve of your cheek

the weight of your body

your heart next to mine

I love you

My first child

    What a wonderful poem!

Makes you realize that science can never have all the answers.

FYI, if you want a quick summary of what we know from science about love, see here: http://scienceinproducts.blogspot.com/2011/02/valentines-day-science.html

Wow, that was an awesome poem. I don't have kids yet. But when I do, I know I'll feel exactly the same way.
