the One Someone
you always imagined you would be,
and I know I'm not the best
through every test of my maturity,
But that we both do,
Love God first-
THAT'S the blessing
that keeps on giving,
THAT'S the glue that adheres
and holds true hearts in tune over many miles
with strength that lets love last awhile,
THAT'S the bread that feeds release
and lets the romance keep on living,
So it's no matter, if we fall short
of ambitious expectation,
For the love of God through action,
brings us cause for Celebration,
And my fervent prayers agree-
That while you're not The One to all,
the Love of God shines from your heart,
and that is Everything to me.
