Love Had Passed Her By

She was thirty-five and love had passed her by. She didn't know the reason. She was prettier than most, intelligent, blessed with a good personality.

She had tried every technique she could think of to find a sweetheart; joined clubs, taken courses, attended church services. Nothing had worked. She decided to make the best of it. The lonely life could still be worth living.
