Eyes say what you can't
Windows to the truth that the lips lack
Conversations more true than any words
Easily read or easily misconstrued.
When u touch, it's more expression than u know
When your feeling shy, when your being bold.
Your body gives away secrets that you'de rather not say
And puts a voice to your internal frays
They can wound more than any words
Scream lounder than a voice ever could.
When u don't touch , that something lies beneath that too
I try to listen without my ears
An art I haven't used in years
But let me just say and this is true, listen to me as I listen to you.
