Love Letter to Self

A.M. Morgan

Dear Self,

I am writing to address the matters of your heart. I understand you have been struggling with your identity. There are often times that you wonder if God loves you because you cannot quote or live the principles of the bible perfectly. Your peer's central focus is always another person's flaws. However, you can find peace and comfort in knowing that you will always be a beautiful Child of God. You have an individual light that shines specifically within the purpose and passion that fuels your life. The physical and emotional scars you are ashamed of are only chapters in your life signifying your growth and endurance in trying times. You are an individualist and no matter what others say there will never be another you. There will continue to be difficult moments in your journey and at those moments, it is okay to fall on your knees and cry because the storm and trouble never lasts forever. The future is waiting for you and knows that until then you must reconcile your past. You may a wear an inconvenient truth that leaves you single and feeling alone for a moment but true love will find and love imperfect you. I know that in this judgmental world it is hard to maintain a positive sense of self-worth. However, I hope that this universal love letter encourages you and please feel free to share it with another self-lover. Overall, never forget your faith can move mountains and it is never too late to love and embrace your reflection in the mirror.

Peace and Love,

Signed Sealed with a sacred kiss to self.

When life throws you a curve ball, hit it out of the park and never give up.
