Will I love you for the rest of my life?
Or for the rest of yours?
I suppose If I should go before you,
I can only love you for the rest of my life...
it doesn't make much sense to state otherwise,
but deep in this heart of mine
that seems to beat for you,
I know that even after I am gone
I will go on loving you.
I will watch you from afar
Listen to your prayers
Cry with you when you are sad
and send happiness your way.
I will float among the clouds over your head
And rustle the leaves in the trees.
Should my time expire before yours
I know somehow some way I will continue to love you
